Timber cladding provides an attractive, lasting and durable finish both for internal and external applications.
We keep Western Red Cedar and Siberian Larch in stock but have access to a wider range of timber cladding - all from sustainable resources. And to make sure these timbers have
the very best performance we can add a choice of proven, industrially applied preservative or fire retardant protection that will give you real confidence in their use.
Species such as Western Red Cedar and European larch continue to be the most popular product for exterior cladding, but thanks to new modified methods other species such as
Accoya and Thermowood are also widely used. These products achieve greater durability without the use of preservatives.
Whatever your project requirement – whether its modern multi-level domestic housing, traditional properties or large scale commercial and public buildings, we offer a choice of
timbers to meet a wide scope of cladding applications.
For an alternative to timber see our range of UPVC cladding and Cedral Weatherboard -The fire rated, rot resistant, low maintenance alternative to traditional timber cladding.
Note: Fix weatherboard with the tongue edge uppermost to allow rainwater to run off more easily. If you are fitting cladding to an uneven wall, you should first screw a series of battens to the wall and fix cladding to these.
